Sirius radio updating stuck

I had similar problems, but with XM, before it merged with sirius. I thought all was lost, but one guy told me what to do & there’s been zero problems since. Here’s the car for a warranty repair, let me know when it’s fixed. My radios display their serial number on first power up until activated and it can also be accessed through the menu system. They had to “refresh” the signal for my radio about 4 times before it was OK. On the other hand, the car’s still brand new, so if you wanna forgo the above, just drop it in the dealer’s lap & don’t take no for an answer. It was delivered to you equipped with the radio by Ford. By the way, I’m counting and documenting the # of repair attempts… Could be one some corrupetd files in the unit's operating system. You might have to follow up with the 3 finger salute to get it all cleaned up.It has happened to me when i was trying to do a Channel Reset from a new home dock in my office that gets a marginal signal, but I just pulled the batt and then redocked it in my cardock when it had good signal and it was able to finish and then it was No bubbles, No troubles...I've tried pressing all the buttons on the remote and the unit itself, but nothing happens. thx, TSo, I had the same problem when I first bought the S50.

A few of our listeners who have specific types of radios may experience minor technical issues once these channel additions and adjustments are completed.Ever since then my channel names show (just) one or two garbage characters or is totally blank. They try and send a reset signal, which the car’s radio does not even acknowledge, then say that’s all they can do and the radio must be defective. They tell me Ford says it can’t be the radio and that the channel names are sent by the satellite. Has anyone had a similar problem and if so how did you resolve it?Not that problem, but I have had a problem with the radio shifting from Sirius to an auto-diagnostic feature. If your radio has finally stopped working, check the standalone options we offer. Many times, we have standalone radios that will match your previous radio or fit in the same dock. This site is offered as a convenience to our users and the internet at large. If you would like to participate in the discussions please visit This is all moot because my 6-month trial of Sirius has expired. It was not worth the cost for as little as I use it.The subscription plan you choose will automatically renew thereafter and you will be charged according to your chosen payment method at then-current rates. Welcome to the Sirius Backstage Archive brought to you by Digital Radio Central.

  1. There is so much fastidious control involved in creatingeach one of the Bottom Feeder pieces, but with ceramics there is always amargin for error, and some degree of control must be sacrificed.
